I specialize in stepping into fast-paced leadership environments to build operational structure, protect executive bandwidth, and turn manual processes into scalable systems.

What I built at Colonist.io 2021 – 2026

Colonist.io grew from 3 people to 12+, serving millions of players a year. This is what I owned along the way.

I was the founders' first hire, and their EA before that.

Before I had a title, I supported Colonist's founders as their personal EA and, through their network, occasionally provided as-needed support to other founders, including Haystack Analytics (YC-backed), across research, recruiting, vendor management, travel, and general admin.

I co-wrote the company's people playbook from a blank page.

Employee handbook, NDAs, contractor and employment agreements, PTO policy, the PIP process, onboarding and offboarding SOPs—all of it built from scratch because nothing existed before me.

I ran the moments that mattered publicly.

A #4 Product of the Day launch on Product Hunt, GDC planning, and Colonist Con.

I owned the customer-facing side of the business.

Support, moderation, and bug reproduction with the development team. I also wrote the company's public refund policy during the shift from one-time purchases to subscriptions.

I managed payroll manually before helping the company transition to Deel.

Processed payroll through Wise and Brex, maintained accurate records, and assisted with the transition to Deel as the team outgrew the manual process.

I look for better ways to handle repetitive work.

I used Google Apps Script to simplify high-volume manual work, including generating 50+ contracts and NDAs from structured data and sending 600+ personalized outreach emails in batches using tools we already had.
